At Minto Gardens, we’re here to help you keep as fit, healthy and active as you can be, so you can enjoy your senior years to the fullest. Our on-site Wellness Consultant will assist you to live independently and help you find any assistance you need through public or private services. In addition, all Minto Gardens residents receive two free health checks per year.
Well body, well mind
Wellness covers both your physical and mental health. Through our Wellness Consultant, a variety of activities will be available such as craft groups, card groups, bingo and dancing.
For additional assistance, the Minto Gardens Concierge will be available onsite.

Community support
Enjoy other people’s company and make new friends. Spend time with your family, celebrate birthdays and special occasions in the Minto Gardens community spaces together.
A Christian based community
Minto Gardens welcomes people of all backgrounds with our Chaplain offering support for our whole community. Those residents who are seeking to grow their Christian faith are supported through chapel services, fellowship groups and pastoral care.
Anglicare At Home
Anglicare At Home provides a range of support services, so you can remain living independently in your own apartment for as long as possible*. You choose the services you need, and Anglicare At Home can arrange a personalised package to suit you.
Services include:
- Domestic help (general house cleaning, laundry)
- Meal preparation
- Pet care
- Transport to appointments
- Shopping support
- Personal care (dressing, showering)
- Nursing and clinical support (post hospital, wound care)
- Pastoral care (bible reading, fellowship groups).

The right support for you
Our Wellness Nurse will also assist you in finding the right support for your needs. From personal care to home support, Minto Gardens will help you maintain an independent lifestyle. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to have Anglicare At Home either partly or fully subsidised through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or the Home Care Package Program.
Aged care onsite
If, in the future, living independently in your own home at Minto Gardens is no longer suitable and you or your partner need higher care, there is a new 100-bed residential aged care home onsite – Porter Lodge.**
